WHO IS BURNING WOMAN FESTIVAL FOR?

Burning Woman is a festival for all women aged 12 and beyond. You are welcome to bring babes in arms to the festival, however we ask that you respect other women’s experience should the baby become unsettled. The festival does not have activities to cater for young children.

Our vision is for a weekend of sisterhood! We welcome mothers, grandmothers, daughters, friends, sisters, and aunties to come join us as we gather to embrace and ignite the of power of Woman. Together we will co-create a weekend of adventure, the arts, wild spirit, nature, fun and love as we deepen our connections to the Earth and each other. We will leave feeling valued, nourished, empowered and inspired!

Burning Woman Festival is about healing our connection to the Divine Feminine whilst respecting and honouring the Divine Masculine.

Burning Woman does not discriminate against race, religion, sexual orientation, age or creed. We welcome women from the BIPOC community and celebrate this diversity with workshop hosts and performers as we share and value the diversity of our gifts, talents, life experiences.

If you identify as a woman and wish to share and contribute to this festival, then you are welcome.

The festival is a safe space for all attending, and we will not tolerate any form of hateful speech or behaviour.

The festival site and facilities is suitable for non-able bodied woman and we have a team of fabulous volunteers to support your experience. You are welcome to bring along a friend to support you too and will be provide a complimentary ticket for them.

Please note, this event is limited to Women participants and attendees. However, at varying times, there may be male contractors and facilitators onsite supporting the festival.

Daytime: Workshops 10.00am – 7.00pm

Opening Ceremony: 7.00pm
Evening Entertainment: 8.00pm – 11.00pm

Daytime: Workshops 8.00am – 7.00pm
Evening Entertainment: 7.00pm – 11.00pm

Sunday 21st July 2024
Daytime: Workshops 8.00am – 5.00pm
Closing Ceremony: 5.00pm

DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET?

You can do – or save paper and just show us the booking confirmation on your phone.

IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?

The car park is next to the campsite and festival. This year, you can park next to your tent. Should you wish to park in the car park, trek carts are available to transport items to the campsite.

DO YOU HAVE A CAR SHARE SCHEME?

Yes we have an exclusive Burning Woman Festival community car sharing Facebook group. Post your journey, whether you are driving or looking for a lift and connect with other women making their way to Burning Woman Festival.

CAN I BRING A CARAVAN, CAMPERVAN OR VEHICLE WITH A ROOF TENT

We have an area suitable for caravans / vehicles with camping facilities. Please book a pitch – places are limited.

WHAT IF I FORGET TO BRING MY TICKETS TO THE FESTIVAL?

Then, unless you can show us the confirmation on your phone, you’ll need to purchase a new ticket.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKET(S)?

Your e-ticket should be with you within 24 hours. Please check your spam box. If your e-ticket isn’t there, please email hello@burningwoman.co.uk and we’ll resend it.

ARE THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?

The majority of activities, demonstrations and evening entertainments are included in the ticket price. Some activities carry a charge depending on the materials required or the service provider.

CAN WE BRING MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS?

You’re welcome to bring musical instruments and share your love of music. All we ask is that you’re considerate of those around you, particularly at night when sound travels.

IS THERE ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE AT, OR NEAR THE SHOW FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T OR DON’T WISH TO CAMP?

If you prefer not to camp, then we have selected an array of local options for you to consider but please book early to avoid disappointment. Visit Belvoir Estate HolidaysBookings.com and airbnb.

CAN I BUY ALCOHOL AT THE FESTIVAL?

Due the nature of the festival there will be no alcohol sold, however alcohol-free doesn’t mean pleasure-free 🙂. We are having a bar selling social spirits that combine plants used for centuries in ceremonies and potions to stimulate the palate, mind and body – along with other non-alcoholic drinks.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

This is an alcohol free festival due to the nature of some of the workshops and activities. 

ARE THERE CATERING FACILITIES ONSITE?

Yes, we have a number of catering options available throughout the weekend, offering a variety of choices. We aim to cover a variety of dietary requirement.

There are a few shops between 2–8 miles away should you wish to buy and cook your own food.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH RUBBISH?

There are several bins and recycling points located around the festival.

DO YOU HAVE FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED?

Yes, there are disabled toilets and a shower at the festival.

ARE THERE SHOWERS AND TOILETS?

There are hot showers and luxury toilets.

CAN WE BRING BBQS AND CAMPING STOVES?

Yes – feel free but please keep them raised off the ground.

IS THERE A TRAIN STATION NEARBY?

The closest train station to Belvoir castle is Grantham Station (NG31 6JY) on the East Coast Mainline and is 7.8 miles away.

WILL THERE BE CASH ON SITE?

There is no ATM on site. The closest ATMs are each located at:

CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE GATE?

Tickets are available to buy on the gate at Tier 2 prices.

WHAT ARE THE CAMPING FACILITIES LIKE?

Camping facilities include:

  • Hot Showers
  • Luxury Toilets
  • Water Points – Please bring a reusable bottle.
  • Washing up areas
  • Accessible shower and toilets
  • NEW Goddess Suite - Containing mirrors, hairdryers, and straighteners
  • NEW Mummas and Bubbas Suite – Equipped with a changing table and feeding chairs

Onsite we have five camping areas: 

  • Accessible camping
  • Glamping
  • Quiet camping
  • General camping
  • Caravan & Campervan camping

Your camping pitch it marked out ready for your arrival and the great news is that you can park next to your tent this year.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

Yes dogs are allowed.

CAN WE LEAVE AND RE-ENTER THE SITE DURING THE WEEKEND?

Yes, just show your wristband when you return.

DO YOU PROVIDE A CARERS COMPLIMENTARY TICKET?

Yes, when you purchase your ticket just email hello@burningwoman.co.uk with proof of disability and we will get a carers ticket issued for you.

WILL THERE BE MEDICAL SERVICES ON SITE?

Yes there are first aid services on site throughout the event.

IS THERE WI-FI AVAILABLE?

No there isn’t Wi-Fi onsite and the signal varies throughout the site.

CAN I BRING MY BABY WITH ME?

The festival is targeted to women and girls 12+years. This is because the purpose of the weekend is to be time-out for women. But – with the opportunity to share the festival and awaking the feminine consciousness with their older children. We appreciate that some women may be breastfeeding and are welcome to bring their baby and breastfeed wherever they like.

ARE THERE PHONE CHARGING FACILITIES?

Yes, you can charge your phone in ‘The Hub’ subject to available charging points. Please bring your own cable.
