Under the guidance of our expert, Heather, you'll learn the fundamentals of taiko technique and collaborate on a piece called "Matsuri" (festival). Expect a few additional surprises to keep things exciting!
About Heather:
Heather is an award-winning musician and music therapist who brings her passion for taiko drumming to everyone. Trained in Japan, she's dedicated to sharing the joy and art of taiko drumming with diverse groups, particularly women of all ages and abilities, as well as the LGBTQ+ community.
Heather founded Taiko for Pride and is a co-founder of Taiko Wales. In addition to her drumming expertise, she works as a psychotherapist and yoga teacher, and runs a variety of wellbeing projects.
